New Software Update

NetSuite unveiled 2 versions of a software product specifically geared toward e-commerce sites on Wednesday, March 19 2008. Although the products won't be available to businesses until April. According to the Vice-President of NetSuite, this is the first software of its kind specifically for e-commerce type businesses. The software has everything in it that is needed to successfully run the IT part of the digital business according to company execs. The software includes ebay support at the checkouts which allows online merchants to tie into ebay giving them another way to offer their merchandise. It also offers real-time inventory which will alert customers to out-of-stock items before checkout, multilingual, as well as offering exchange in 16 currencies. This sounds like an interesting product that has come on the market recently. The industry will have a little research to do as to how well it fits in with the needs of each individual firm.
